CoStar: Long Island Firm Pays $32M for Hauppauge Office Building

Damianos Realty Group, a local investment ærm that owns more than 1 million square feet of commercial space throughout Long Island, purchased a Class A ofæce building totaling 210,000 square feet in Hauppauge from Briar Meads Capital for $32 million, or about $152 per square foot. The six-story structure at 100 Motor Parkway is leased to major tenants including Peoples United Bank, First Empire Securities, Wells Fargo, Stewart Title, law ærms Farrell Fritz and Certilman Balin and VHB Engineering. LIBN: Hauppauge office building sells for $32M

Damianos Realty Group has closed on its $32 million purchase of a six-story office building in Hauppauge. Built in 2002, the 210,000-square-foot building at 100 Motor Parkway is on 10.36 acres. It is one of two twin buildings developed on the site by Tritec Real Estate. Tritec built the 200,000-square-foot building next door at 102 Motor Parkway in 2007 and sold it to Teachers Federal Credit Union in 2010 for more than $40 million. Newsday: Smithtown real estate firm buys Hauppauge building for $32 million

Smithtown-based real estate firm Damianos Realty Group has purchased a six-story office building in Hauppauge for $32 million. The 210,000-square-foot building, located at 100 Motor Pkwy., was built in 2002 and overlooks the Long Island Expressway. Damianos, which plans to make additional investments to update the property, purchased the building from BM-12 Holding Company LLC. “We try to find buildings with really good bones and we spend a lot of time, effort and money and we try to make them as good as they can be,” said X.
